Okay. No tears doesn’t mean no tangles. It’s a diluted, hypoallergenic, soap-free shampoo meant to reduce eye sting. Although it may be advertised as “no tears,” it should be something more like less tears.

Beth Cavener Stichter (featured in Hi-Fructose Vol. 16) caught our attention with her raw sculptural style. The artist forms animals by hollowing out blocks of clay, giving her subjects a raw, unrefined appearance as if they sprang from the material itself. In her latest body of work for her second solo show at Claire Oliver Gallery, “Come Undone,” Cavener Stichter refined her aesthetic, creating animal sculptures that are more stylized with deep grooves and glazed with different shades of gray — a departure from her minimally embellished work from the past. Let me just say I am so so proud of everyone. I haven’t been in the tag very much lately, but I love every single one of you. What the Glitzers have done together, and what we have to potential to do, just blows me away.
I often find myself brought down by all the bullshit this world has to throw at me, but then I come home and I check the tag and my faith in humanity is restored. Glitzers are the best thing that has happened to me.
